Gardaí arrest man driving on Luas tracks with open can of cider beside him

He will now face court.

GARDAI HAVE ARRESTED a man after he was caught driving down the Luas tracks with an open can of cider beside him. 

Officers attached to the Garda Commercial Vehicle Unit spotted the driver over the weekend and pulled him over. 

After they approached the vehicle, gardaí realised that the man had an open can of cider beside him.

He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and will now have to face court.
